The light won't turn off
A homeowner says the hallway light won't turn off no matter what they do with either switch.
Reported symptom: The light is on all the time. Neither switch turns it off.
Tap a terminal, then tap a second terminal to run a wire between them. Tap either terminal of an existing wire (or the wire itself) to remove it.
Switch 1 (Downstairs):
